Atelier is the thoughtful reinterpretation and renovation of an existing colonial-style building which combines local sensibilities with a global outlook and mixes the old world with the new along the lines of an ‘Afro-minimalist’ aesthetic.
The hotel is intended to feel like a creative and comfortable retreat, or pied a terre, while offering access to art and culture.
Vision & Inspiration
Our vision is to create a new kind of hotel for the cosmopolitan patron: proudly African and offering an authentic hospitality experience centered around design, art and culture.
Drawing rich inspiration from extensive travel around the world, our own diverse educational background and eclectic cultural interests, we have spent five years conceiving and realizing the hotel.
